Welcome to MindLock. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile app (the "App") and related services (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by your country, to use the Service. By using the App, you confirm that you are legally allowed to use the Service and agree to these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

• You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You agree not to use the Service in ways that violate laws or infringe the rights of others.
• You are responsible for the app groups, quiz settings, unlock rules, answers, and data you submit.
• You understand that MindLock is a self-control and productivity tool, not medical, psychological, or legal advice.

3. Screen Time Permissions

MindLock may request Screen Time, Family Controls, notification, and Live Activity permissions to provide app and website shielding, quizzes, unlock sessions, reminders, and related features. You can manage permissions in your device settings, but some features may not work without them.

4. Account Registration and Security

• You may need to register an account or provide contact information to use certain features.
• Keep your credentials safe and do not share them.
• You are responsible for activity under your account or device profile.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, features, trademarks, logos, and other materials in the App are owned by MindLock or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, modify, or attempt to replicate the App or its underlying systems except where allowed by law.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Some features may require a subscription or in-app purchase.
• Payments are processed through the applicable app store or payment provider.
• All payments are non-refundable unless required by law or by the applicable app store policy.
• MindLock may change pricing or feature availability. Where required, you will be notified in advance.

7. Limitations of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
• We make no warranties, express or implied, about uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
• MindLock is not liable for damages arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the App.
• In jurisdictions where liability limits are restricted, those restrictions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.
• Some provisions, including intellectual property, payment, liability, and governing law provisions, survive termination.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes where required. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kazakhstan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
