MindLock ("we," "us," "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use MindLock (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide:

• Account information, if registration is available or required, such as email or username
• Support requests, bug reports, and messages you send to us
• Quiz answers, selected settings, preferences, and optional profile information

b) Automatically collected data:

• Usage data related to App features, quiz attempts, unlock sessions, and settings
• Device information such as model, operating system version, language, and app version
• Crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data
• Push notification and Live Activity tokens, if those features are enabled

c) Screen Time and Family Controls data:

• MindLock uses Screen Time and Family Controls permissions to shield selected apps and websites.
• We do not read your private messages, feeds, photos, passwords, or in-app content.
• Selected apps, websites, quiz settings, and related progress data may be stored to provide the Service.

d) Local vs. remote storage:

• Some data may be stored locally on your device.
• Some data may sync to our servers or service providers to provide features, backup, analytics, or support.

2. Use of Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Apply app and website shielding rules selected by you
• Run quizzes, unlock sessions, metrics, reminders, and related features
• Send notifications, Live Activity updates, and reminders if permitted
• Analyze performance, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payment, and customer support providers
• Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or valid legal process
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy

4. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and you use the App at your own risk.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

Depending on your jurisdiction, including Kazakhstan and other applicable privacy laws, you may have rights to:

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law. If we discover that such data has been collected, we will delete it.

9. International Processing

Your information may be processed in Kazakhstan or other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information according to this Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. We will notify you of significant changes where required. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
